Pay for Performance

You Only Pay When You’re in the News.

Who’s this good for? For the business first starting out in PR that doesn’t have a huge budget and would prefer to earmark it for results. Not too concerned about its overall marketing communications strategy just yet, but wants to see how public relations can help lift the voice of the company in today’s conversational media.

Here’s how it works:
Step 1: We’ll hold a conference call to learn about the details of your company to get information to help put together an initial, cool story. (It needs to be cool to catch the attention of the media that have never heard of you).

Step 2: We’ll begin pitching the story to land opportunities for you to interview with reporters in today’s newspapers, magazines, tv shows…anywhere your customers get their information.

Step 3: When we do bring you an opportunity, we’ll let you know about it as well as what the fee will be if it’s successful. Once the publication or broadcast runs the story, we’ll ask for you to pay the final fee.

Here’s what it costs:
The price you pay for each placement depends on the type of coverage. For example, if you land a story that mentions your name in the Chattanooga Times Free Press, the fee will be quite a bit less than the New York Times featuring your face and company name in bold.

The fees for each placement depend on the publication, how comprehensively they cover your company, the distribution/viewership/listenership of the media, and what market in which it appeared. Click here for examples of the pricing schedule for various segments of the media.
